In 1972, I came to San Francisco for one semester to study film and photography. Eventually, rock & roll (and the cost of film & processing) pulled me away from shooting, but not from the area; I came to Half Moon Bay in 1989.
After a many-years long break from photography, I bought my beloved Canon EOS and carry it just about everywhere I go.
My preference is to find some entirely wonderful scene and stay out of the way of it getting into my camera, especially if I can find a detail that I can isolate, giving a new perspective on the whole. I present the photos 'clean', using Photoshop only to buff out errant telephone wires and such. The pieces I have here represent a cross-section of the last few years' work; I hope you enjoy seeing the world through my eyes for a few moments.
